Hi

I am flying to Windhoek next week (to wdh on a319 and back on a320).

Is it worth paying the extra to get an exit row seat? Can one see anything over the wing

Thx
Aharon

For me personally I like the emergecny exit row by the engine. Lots more leg room (I am tall) and I like watching the flaps and the engine. Peronally for me, the view gets pretty darn boring very quickly. Specially flying over our land scape @ 30 000 feet. Brown....brown .... brown ....oh look....more brown .... ah ... small body of water .... brown .... brown.

Lol, so true Ockie.

Can you see anything looking maybe backwards?

Plus the odd road and railway line...

Saw 10 planes sitting on the apron when I arrived earlier this month. Was shocked that there were so many.

To the OP, don't forget to keep a pen with you to fill in the immigration arrival form you should be handed on the plane on the way there. Haven't flown on Air Namibia for more than 10 years so can't comment there. Always SAA.

Thanks. Yeah I agree I still trust saa as an African airline

Didn't hear good things about air Namibia. What's your experience?

Like voyager miles too

If you chasing miles then it's understandable. Also emergency exit seats u cannot recline.

Do you want a view, or do you want a neck pain that will make you walk like a crab for 24 hours? :p

If you sit in the emergency exit right by the engine you can look a bit forward out of your window. That is if you love the colour brown anyway rofl.

Just like to know when we gonna land... So there is a bit of a view?

Elsewhere?... Done a lot of overseas travel. The only airlines that beat SAA in terms of comfort and service are Qatar and Emirates.

SAA is definitely not the best airline for service. It is actually one of the worst.

In Africa. Hahahaha. They not competing against much. Put SAA against the proper contenders and it will come rock bottom. So please best airline in Africa is not saying much.
