SAA desperately needs its government bailout

South African Airways has yet to receive the R2-billion bailout it was promised by the government last year and is growing desperate as another payment deadline approaches.

Speaking to Rapport, National Treasury confirmed that SAA had not yet received the money it had been promised and did not state when the bailout would be paid to the struggling state-owned airline.

Well yes it was a first world country as it was allied with NATO during the cold war, any country that was 1st world, 2nd world was all Soviet States and third world was any not allied with anyone.
It actually had nothing to do with economical stability, though a lot of people adopted it incorrectly to mean such as it sounds better.

Government already decided more than a decade ago that we did not need a reliable electricity supply. The only possible purpose of maintaining SAA must therefore be for it to continue to act as a pipeline for corrupt proceeds.

But the taxpayers have been "rescuing" SAA for a couple of years now and nothing has changed or improved.
So currently, it is actually just the same for what has happening for the past couple of years.
This means that the ANC are trying to fool the taxpayers but they keep on thinking that all taxpayers are 30 percenters.
