Well, not anymore ...SABC - with a budget
BBC had their iPlayer first...surely there's a copyright infringement here?
Anyways, cannot wait to NOT stream anything to do with SABC. Question: With them moving to a more digital environment, do I still need a TV license if I have no intention of getting a set-top box?
I miss this screen actually. They had better shows back then. Wait they are simply replaying all of those old shows again.
I wish they would upscale Wielie Walie. It really would help kids with Afrikaans learning. And Heidi in proper afrikaans not a vcd quality.Agter elke man reruns for the adults and Wielie Walie reruns for them kids.
Make is subscription. If you pay a TV license you have access to it, if you dont then you wont. As simple as that? Isnt it like 20-30pm for watching SABC? So TV license is like yearly subscription or you can pay monthly. Similar to Netflix and Showmax.Do you remember them wanting to have everyone that owns a cellphone and computer to pay tv-license. Pretty sure this half-assed player is a step towards that. As they can now claim that you have access to their content and thus, need to pay. My thoughts on why this thing was developed so quickly after those plans was "laid to rest".
SABC will never agree to that. They want as many people as possible to pay that TV license.Make is subscription. If you pay a TV license you have access to it, if you dont then you wont. No license.........just the so called household tax that these muppets want to implement in place of the license, for which "EVERY" household will supposedly be billed.BBC had their iPlayer first...surely there's a copyright infringement here?
