SABC relaunches free streaming service with new features and two big catches

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has relaunched the SABC+ streaming service for the second time in less than a year.

The double-revamped SABC+ has been improved with several new features and enhancements, including support for Apple TV, Google TV, and LG Smart TVs.

I used it and it works. Surprising really...

Yip it did, and it actually worked really well. To be honest, I think it worked better than the garbage DSTV stream app.

Definitely. Each launch had a different cdn provider.

1st: Liquid telecoms
2nd: Amazon Cloudfront
Now: Fastly CDN via sabconetanw.cdn.mangomolo.com

An Android TV app for Android media boxes will also become available at a later stage.

Apple gets an app before Android? Dolby will pop a hernia if he sees this.
