I came across it this afternoon way before I posted here...

Got an official SABC post about it on X, and tried to log in with my details... Nope, nada... Remade account... Winning...

In the same thread you asked whether they referred to Android TV or Google TV, implying they were different.

I asked and you replied that Google changed their mind, implying you now agreed.

Now it sounds like you don’t agree with me or the white paper ?

It’s probably going to be inferior :(

22Seven, Childcloud, Snapseed, Google Photos and probably about 2 or 3 others that I’ve got are inferior on iOS. Luckily I carry my Android to use anything decent.

When I edit with Snapseed, it’s just so much faster too. You know the iPhone 15 Pro is like 10 seconds slower than an S24U when applying filters? 10 SECONDS?! That’s an eternity and no one has time to waste like that.

It’s weird though because the die hard users really try their best to show how much better and faster iOS apps are and … they aren’t . They can’t even provide examples.

Yes all iPhone users wake up in the morning and wish they could properly use Snapseed.

They changed their tune from what to what? So now you agree? Disagree? They changed their tune? They didn’t?

You need to start thinking for yourself and sticking to one story. You have no idea how this contestant changing hurts your credibility

i don't want it for the TV channels - i want it for the radio .... ain't go no time, or money to waste to go buy a cheapie radio when i can have the SABC app playing radio through my TV speakers and trust me thats good enough for radio broadcasts - i have shown the app on my Hisense TV to other people in my building who own skyworth TVs and up to now it could not install on those - sideloading it was terrible because it installed in portrait mode and wanted touchscreen ie half the function buttons did not work with the remote

I can tell you that its not available for the mi box S 2nd gen YET - I looked for it and it said that this app is not available for this device at this time - hoping that they add it into the play store soon

A Google TV app is the same as a Android TV app ... , wonder if they did not mean Samsung TV app.

Tho I don't understand why they supported LG TV's before Android TV. There are millions more Android TV device out there than LG TV's., for instance.

R10 says the pm or ba for the development team has an LG TV and wanted an app for it.

You said it WAS only a skin upfront BUT Google has since changed its tune.
