Watched the rugby, Japan football game, and some of this morning's Handball, without any problem on my home WiFi. Only had a little problem yesterday, on the in-laws WiFi, but there's are horribly slow. So

Will have a look again this evening - my Shield TV Pro 2019, is hardwired to the router.
 
Wonder if there is free epg (for an iptv player) for SABC Sport. Those we use don't supply epg for it. And SABC deliver theirs thru their app and not their streams

I have made a little .m3u file with sabc1/2/3/news/sport, you can use to stream direct. Why?

Bypass website authentication to stream direct
Using any player/device you like
You can use:
  • 1 - Jellyfin live tv option
  • 2 - Iptvnator - mac/win/nix
  • 3 - Whatever app you prefer for iptv streams.
  • 4 - VLC - network stream
  • 5 - Stream direct with browser - Go to https://freeiptvplayer.net/iptv-player
  • 6 - Kodi - live tv - install "iptv simple client" addon then import list. If you're on linux, install the client --> apt install kodi-pvr-iptvsimple. Or install the addon nextpvr, or ---> apt install kodi-pvr-nextpvr. With nextpvr you can do time based recordings if you want. There is no EPG.
File is attached. Its just a txt file with .m3u extention.

If the .m3u file is not available (system complained), just rename the TXT file's extension to .m3u

Oh that's nice, now I can just vlc instead of having to open the website, legend!
