Hey guys

Not sure if this is the correct section to post this in but thought I would give it a shot.

My company uses Sage Evolution which stores its data on a SQL server. I have a proper server with proper backup plans in place etc.

My dad has just started his own business and wants to use Sage Evolution but wants to piggy back off my server instead of investing in his own one. He is located in a different building. Also seeing as I have proper backups in place etc, its convenient for him as well. Sage One is working out too costly given that they charge for each company you want to setup and since he has many it is more cost effective to use Sage Evolution.

So the question is, is this possible? And is it possible to do so safely - ie without risking corruption of data etc. He wont be crunching hardcore data, so I don't think speed is too much of an issue - and besides we are on a fibre line so latency is pretty good.

Can anyone give advice on this?

Thanks
