Sage Offline Again

We also need to do invoicing - its month end and Sage Accounting is offline. Very unprofessional. Its not even loadshedding.

Can see this too. Its crazy that there seems to be free alternatives too. Time to change I guess

Yes, after having been "the IT guy" and having spent 2 years fixing their KAK and my salary being delayed due to THEIR KAK, I made sure that I had some sway- most places nowadays use other systems. Cheaper too

Accounting, there is TurboCash that is free. What about free payroll software in South Africa?
 
Exactly why we moved our companies over to a different solution a few years ago. Same BS - end of the month, they're down, we suffered penalties from SARS due to late payments, they didn't cover any of this. They literally have ONE job. It was a huge effort though for our accountants to move things away, but we made it away and right now we'd never touch them again.
 
Ive had issues with recurring invoices where Sage for some reason decided to do a double invoice for all my clients. That was fun sorting that kak out
 
The quicker we see the arse-end of anything sage pastel related the better.
Dismal software, luckily the moron who never allowed us to migrate over to Xero etc was booted, farkin moron.
