@XRapidX: You can get the MSI from Kalahari.net for that price.

@Killadoob: Your 15" laptop is different in that it is less portable. You buy an MSI as a second laptop.
 
I cannot find a fullsize laptop of any kind new for less than R4500 and that has a celeron processor :sick:
 
now remember this is for people who buy from sahara, but look at the price and the specs and tell me its worth buying one of those small crappy things instead of a full size good spec lappie.

Battery life is like most laptops, depending what your doing 2-3 hours.

For people who buy from Sahara as in dealers? :(

Cos if the average man on the street(like me) is going to have to pay more than that then it is not really that great at all.
 
If battery life is what you're after - I won't recommend Acer... I've had three, and after about a year, the battery virtually dies, the one I have now is 1.5yrs old, and the battery lasts 15min... R1200,00 for a new one.

This was my last Acer. Not a supporter anymore.
 
well yes it is, most people will put 1k on the laptop so your looking at 4.5k plus 600 for xp and you have about 5.1k ex vat for those specs henry.

Come dude most celerons with xp go for that price, a 1.73 core duo is a damn fast cpu for a laptop, kick the crap out of a celeron.

5.8k for that laptop is damn good henry, 1.73 core duo 1 gig mem and a 120 gig hdd with 15.4" screen, find me a laptop for that price that is not a celeron.

But where can I get one? I cannot find a dual-core anywhere with those specs for R5k.
