Hi there,

Are there any other SAINET customers here that are unable to connect?

I suspect their radius server is offline AGAIN... and conveniently their support line only runs until 5pm...
 
Just chatted to one of their senior techs. He says that they are busy trying to fix a fault on the Telkom network that has caused the outage.
 
SAINET Company Response:

Hi, our RADIUS is UP.

It is caused by a Telkom MetroNode failure, 3G/HSDPA , DIALUP and DIGINET clients are up and running, only ADSL authentication affected after the failure.
After hour support is available - 0861SAINET

Call voumes are high, but we have a network status link (top right) at sainet.co.za for updates.

Oh well, if it's sorted today im happy i guess. Sainet has been a million times better for my needs than the other isps i tried with 384k uncapped
 
This sucks...connection is still down. Not sure how I survived last nite with out being able to play SC2!!

By having a cheapie prepaid account with another ISP, that's how :D

I keep a R40 1Gb prepaid account ready for such interruptions, so that my SC2 enjoyment is maintained

looks like its back up according to sainet's site, can any1 confirm?
