Why is this game so expensive? I went to spend a voucher at Look&Listen, liked that, flipped the box and noticed R850.

Definitely the priciest 'box game I've seen - including the top games available such as GTA or Fable.

Is it any good?
 
I have it.

Haven't played it yet, but according to reviews it's an improvement on the first installment.

I actually want to buy NBA 2k9, but it's also a ridiculous R800 :mad:
 
it is fun, not as good as GTA4, and is riddled with bugs, but it is lots of fun, btw, i bought my copy for R700 from IC.
 
Welcome to South African game pricing. Its flippin crazy..i see more and more people buying online from places in the uk meaning the local gaming shops are gonna get less and less support. Oh and let us not forget about the piracy market it will grow even more!!

As for saints row 2..Its a brilliant game not worth the R850 price tag...no game is worth that!!

Yip - hit a freezdwithin an hour of playing :/ Graphics, physics, AI is pretty bad considering it's a new game, but from what I've played so far (very little) it does seems pretty fun. At times I *almost* feel I'm playing GTA4 tbh ...

Almost what I did ;) I found the game at CNA at R699 - so bought it outright and will save the voucher for another game at L&L ... probably Call Of Duty in a month.
 
I want to get it but I cant pay that much for a game. Im thinking of trying Saints Row 1 (R200) and when the price comes down for Saints Row 2 then ill grab it.

Anyone played the 1st one? Any Good?

Saints Row 1 is an excellant game. It filled the gap until Grand Theft Auto became available on the 360.

I bought it for R100 2nd-hand though :p

Worth a spin ;)
