Hi, yesterday my SAIX account went down at about 11.30 in the morning. At first I thought my router might be dead, but then I swapped to my IS Local account, and it worked fine.

Anyone have any ideas about what could be wrong?

Am I right in thinking that my 5GB SAIX account would equate to 5, 368, 709, 120 bytes? If so, I should still have another 300MB (roughly).

Anyone know what I can do?

BTW, I'm in Roodepoort.

Thanks,

Barry

Thought so.

I also have a 5Gb account from Openweb. I think it is kind of crazy that one cannot access the openweb bandwidth monitor (openwebadsl.co.za) when one is capped.

If your acount stops working one just has to assume that you're capped... Not satisfactory.

I must say, I didnt know about this bandwidth monitor! :o! Only knew about the saix.net usage tracker... I have just peeked at it, and it actually shows that I have downloaded less than 5GB... Hope it isnt a problem on the Telkom side of things :'(

BTW: My downloaded is: ? 4.844 GB Oh crap....I forgot about my uploads :|

Hehe...I'm capped...only had this account since the 13th lol :'(

Hey Friends

http://www.openwebadsl.co.za should work once capped for clients that have a 5GB and 10GB account.

For folks on UNSHAPED SAIX accounts, the best tool should be the SASA program from Antibody.
