is smtp.saix.net the only server one can use with adsl?

Is it just the smtp server that is slow or the entire SAIX Network?

This is the response that I get from Telkom's local http speed test on my 512k line:

"Your line speed is approximately 35.3 Kbps or 4.3 kBytes/sec"

LOL @ speed dude i connect through my cellphone faster than that. my internet is fine. just the smtp.saix thats non existant. but also it seems any connection to anything in the western cape is screwed. maby saix dont have electricity

OKAY, maby something wrong with the speedtest site cause my iunternet works fine but that site is taking forever to do the "test"
