SAIX on sabNZBd

Hey guys
So I'm having an issue with sabNZBd and connecting to the SAIX news server with local cap (Telkom).
Last night I installed sabNZBd and all was fine till tonight, when i test the connection to SAIX at times it would succeed and at times not,this is all running on local cap only. Even when the connection is successful the download doesn't start.

Now I do use altBinz and when I run this on the local cap,exact same NZB, and on the SAIX news server then there's no problem at all. It connects and downloads perfectly, so this has to a sabNZBd issue?

I then changed to my afrihost INT account and connected to AstraWeb through sabNZBd and the connection test was successful each time as well as no download issues, they start right away with no problem at all.

So it seems like sabNZBd is not running as good as it should with SAIX or could it only be me? Has anyone experienced this before? Know how to sort it?

I think you just made an error with the configuration of the news server in sabNZBd.
Try using the IP address instead of the hostname.

Also make sure that you didn't type in a username/password for the server! That was my problem after I upgraded my sabNZBd.

Thanx I'll have a look at that tonight, also a friend of mine said there's another SAIX server that i should try, news2 or something, do you know anything about that one?
