Repairs has commenced, customers connecting to SMTP.SAIX.net will still experience intermittent connectivity problems. Updates to follow.

I use ADSL via M-web.

Since smtp.saix.net is down I am unable to send any messages.

Is there another SMTP server that I can use?

Now I have a question. I have a client thats has a 2000 server with exchange using the smtp.saix.net to relay emails via a smart host. The one persons emails is getting delayed, but only one out of six. Then one of the other users sends to the same email address that got delayed adn it goes thru witout a problem. Why ? Is it the server or has it something to do with the smtp.saix.net delay problem ???

I have not been able to send or receive emails the whole week-end! My investigations show that Telkom have a rather large problem on their hands.

I am still not able to send emails at present!

MTNNS seems to have a problem with one of their routers and I have logged a call with them too.
