For every email I send, I recieve a receipt email telling me that the email was delivered. The receipt email is received from the saix server.

Does anyone know if there's a way to stop this from happening?

Sounds like a "always request a return receipt" option in your mail client, thunderbird has this under preferences.

I am aware of that option but it's not enabled. I've set up a rule to permanently delete any mail with a specific heading. It was driving me insane. The receipt is originating from the Saix server and not the mailbox which receives the mail.

Hi there Axen :)!

Its the first time that I hear of anything of this nature. Usually the SMTP server should not be sending you delivery reports, unless this option has been enabled on your mail client. Can I ask what mail client you are using? Thunderbird or Outlook?
