Salary and working issue

Hi.

I am boiling furious at this stage.
My salary and work hours was cut in half during the last half of last year. Fine. Go forward.

This month a part of my salary, which is half already was paid to me.
Monday is the 20th and I haven't received the rest of it. I'm behind on rent (which is the first time in my life). Not to talk about my necessities.

I sent them a message today after getting furious at the lame responses and told them I won't be at work until the difference is paid.

I have to be honest I really couldn't give a rats ass right now. I feel without a doubt that they are targeting me and not the rest. Seeing messages from colleagues that small amounts have been paid to 'everyone', yet I don't receive a cent.

If they fire me, I'll just move on. If they don't pay me I will not go back to work.
This has been the worst months in my lifetime so far.

I'm venting, but your suggestions or input is welcome.

I am literally. I'm fskd financially, but work isn't easy to find in my capacity. I have the experience, but not the papers to go with it.
I keep applying for work though.

It made my day flip after hearing another excuse why I am not paid. To feel it on a Saturday sucks I agree.

Consider approaching your shop steward and/or the CCMA - if you have proof that you are being "targeting" (ie everyone else getting paid except you) then you'd have a stronger case.

Investigate the ccma anyway.. Short paying without all sorts of processes is bound to be not legit.

I'm a white Afrikaans male. I have no union or shop steward.

Investigate the ccma anyway.. Short paying without all sorts of processes is bound to be not legit.

CCMA requires a strong foundation for a case. I don't have any proof, except my experience of the situation. It's a he said, she said situation.

Dude, no advice, as I am extremely fortunate job-wise, and could very easily have ended up (and frankly, probably should have, given my idiotic history), in a job situation where I could get ****ed at a whim.

One way or the other - my sympathies, and I sincerely hope you figure this out, I can't imagine the stress it must be putting you under. Here I am worrying about paying off my credit card debt - If it was at a point where I was unable to pay rent, due to monies owed to me, I don't know if I'd handle it very well at all...

Having to handle it sucks beyond my limits. If people are capable of taking away my human dignity and basic will to go on, something has to be wrong with the situation.

Just posting this issue on a public forum is more than embarrassing. The lengths I have to go through for basic sanity sucks.

Get in touch with them and see how they can help, unions are very helpful in such incidents even if you are not a member.
