So I was thinking... I wanna go back to dual screen on my PC, so another T260 is in order... but I also wanna get DSTV.

Now the T260 has got HDMI on the back, but I dont think the standard decoder or standard PVR has anything on the back I can use... Does that mean I would HAVE to get a HD PVR? By the looks of things even THAT wont work coz the HDMI output is limited to HD content only

24. What are the outputs & inputs on the HD PVR? The HD PVR has the following outputs :

1 x HDMI (only source of HD)
1 x set AV (Red, white yellow)
1 x set YPbPr (Component)
1 x RF Out (F-type connector)
1 x SPDIF optical
1 x SPDIF coaxial
1 x TV SCART / RGB / S-Video, etc. available via menu options and adaptors (not supplied)

I wanna try get this sorted today, as Im not in the office and will have some time to drive around...

thanks

No, the HD PVR should work just fine ...

HD content output is limited to the HDMI port only, ie you can't get HD on the other output ports.

... NOT " ... the HDMI output is limited to HD content only" ... all SD material is also available over the HDMI port ...

You could get a DSTV 1131 decoder. It has RCA ouputs. And get a RCA to VGA converter/adapter.

It should look something like this

I'm sure that these adapters are reversible. ie VGA to RCA and RCA to VGA

ok I got a capture device, everything is setup and working (except the dstvm ill get to that later)

so I installed the Cyberlink PowerDirector that came with the device... this is what it looks like

so now, how do I go about NOT watching stuff in a small box like that!? I would like to stretch it (yes I know it will be squashed) so I can see full screen

help please?
