Samsum galaxy tab 2 10.1

I just acquired this gadget together with Samsung Galaxy S4 smart phone from MTN, but it does not read my sim card (no sim) even after inserting it correctly.
I was told that these two can read each other!!
I switched Wi-Fi on on both gadgets and can read the AndroidAP on the gadget, what is the Password required to connect? Proxy settings,IP settings. Please help!!!

The S4 and Tab does not use the same size sim card, unless I misunderstood your post.
If you do indeed have the correct sim card and it is inserted in the right way, try to press it 2 mm deeper. I actually used something to sink it a bit more.

If I remember correctly you must enable the hot spot on the tablet and you might have to specify the S4 as an allowed device or ensure to change the setting that will allow all devices.

The password is only if you setup a password or connect to a Wi-Fi. Does not sound if you would need proxy settings.

Aside from the SIM card issue, we can't really help you with the information above, because it is not clear what you need help with. Make a numbered list of issues, so we can tackle them one at a time. Right now you're all over the place.
