Samsung 2233GW needed!

Why is pczone only in durbs? why do they not have a jhb branch?

I would more than willing to run the branch for them :). Store would be flippin crazy busy all day everyday with their pricing in jhb.
 
WELL!!! My day ended very nicely! I actually phoned Sahara to check if they have or are getting stock of the 2233, and I spoke to a very friendly dude who said he would check BUT (and here comes the kicker), they have the 2333SW in stock on special for R1699 if I would like that :eek::eek::eek:

Naturally I ordered and left leaving nothing but tyre marks in my driveway - I sat in 2 hours of traffic on the way there - But hey was well worth it. I am now sitting in front of 23 inches of pure pleasure (no not gay porno)!

The difference between the 2232 and this is....well Massive!

That is pretty sweet. Whats the native resolution? 1680 x 1050?
 
You sure about that? full hd 1080p is 1920 x something the 2233 does not go higher than 1680 x 1050 on my system. I think the 2233 can only do 720p, i stand to be corrected.

One question - someone told me today that a 2MS monitor is better than a 5MS monitor - My initial reaction was that he is talking a whole lot of game, but I may be wrong. I thought 5MS was better.

The lower the better, it's a type of latency. But you shouldn't notice any real difference. There's no ghosting in games etc. anymore even with 5ms.

I'm not sure where you'll notice it really.

Yup, apparently the difference is not noticeable to the human eye

Well i cannot see the difference in my 2232gw 2ms and my 2233 gw 5ms, if anything the ms appears better when watching dvd rips.

Hey there...

where did you get your samsung 2233 GW ? reasoning thats an Excellent Price.

And Pc Zone advertises for 2233GW, but if fact that is a miss print & they are only selling the 2233 BW for R1899. and they say there is no stock of the 2233 GW

and the 2233 BW is a 5ms LCD, where as the 2233 GW is a 2ms LCD.

so are you sure that you got a 5ms samsung 2233 GW ???
