Samsung 2233GW needed!

Wow! Is there anyway that I can get the Samsung 2333SW couriered down to Cape Town for that price? I can't seem to find it anywhere for less than R2'200. How long is the special on? And does this Sahara shop have a website or anything? I really wish I could get that kinda price down here! Anybody willing to courier, or does anybody know of a place in CT?
 
Sahara have a branch in CPT.. but you'll need a dealers account.
 
Well, due to the EOL issues of the 22**GW series, I just bought myself the T220... Should get it by tomorrow!
Looking forward to this baby!

The 2233GW is still a great monitor, but I don't want something that's just gone End Of Life...

The T220 is R2299 and the T240 is R3199 :)

Hate to tell you this but your T220 will also probably be EOL in a few weeks :p

They churn models out like there is no tomorrow. Whats new today is old tomorrow.
 
ok ... I really want to get a Samsung monitor, preferably 23"≤. I only wanna go with 22" if 23" ≤ costs too much. I dont want my monitor to be EOL (does the warranty cover this?). My choices are between: 2233GW, 2333SW, T220, T240. Anybody that has experience with these monitors with recommendations?

BTW, is it worth the extra money to get a monitor that looks awesome (T240) or just a monitor that has the same specs but looks average (2333SW).

The 2333 is awesome, great colours and nice and bright and I personally prefer the matte finish. Otherwise the 2233 is also great! Personally I think the T series sell on their looks rather than being a more superior monitor, but don’t quote me on this. I personally don't think the extra tom is worth it. And price wise you can pick up the 2333 which is 23" for probably the same as the 2233.
 
Totally agreed! I think the only reason I would want the T2** is for the look! But I honestly don't believe it's worth the R1000 odd extra. I even saw that the T220 has the same specs as the 2233GW! And it costs about R500 more! Not worth it ...

Edit: Does the 2333SW have a matte look? I prefer it to the gloss.

Yes the 2333SW is matte
 
I picked up 3 of the 2233GW's for R1580 each ex vat from Saharah 2 weeks ago - very happy with them!
