Anyone have experiences with this, or indeed, ANY Series-5 LCD TVs ?

yes i bought one with my bonus for the purpose of replacing my 22" Samsung 226bw and yes its awwesome :D you can have tv, pc and your desired console all hooked up but in terms of audio you will need somthing with lots of inputs like logitech z5500's. Text is crisp and clear internet browsing awesome hd movies awesome. The only place i have a quible is dead space on pc the flickering lights didnt seem to refresh quiet as desired i still want to test this on doom 3 and fear. Other games i have tested have seemed to be very good quake 3, dota etc. But i fear that the refresh wont stand up to say the t260 25.5 inch samsung LCD monitor hope this was some help.
 
A huge help! Which model do you have?

Viewing video etc, especially action scenes? Is it fluid? Want to check it out tomorrow before I buy.

Also, what distance are you viewing from?
 
Samsung LN-32A550 i think thats the one bought it in december so i think there is possibly a new model. with hd rips it seems fine to me (transformers, equilibrium etc) for pc i have a corner desk so prob about 0.5m away this is prob a bit close but i ca live with it. Movies like 3.5m on my bed and its a great improvment on my 22" xbox i also play from like say 1.5m to 2m away. in terms of pc i have a c2d e6700 2.6ghz with 4gb ram and an 8800gtx video card im sure this will have somthing to do with hd playback being smooth. gaming you will need prob like a ati 4850 or a geforce 275gtx to get some decent visuals with smooth play back and a c2d with say 4gb ram. rams is very cheap at the mom so dont skimp.
