Hi

So I ended up getting this LED panel.

I noticed though when playing 2D-3D I get light flares ( you can see it more in dark scenes of the movie) in the corners of the TV. It is not in the viewing are but in the black panels in the top and the bottom the letterbox viewing.

Normal viewing its not there that I can see. Is this just a normal LED issue or is there something wrong with the panel.

Turn down the back light, and and adjust the cinema black setting to medium.
Also remember to check for firmware updates regularly.
Lastly, check some reviews of the F7500 to see if any reviewers give recommended picture settings.

Thanks

I have played with the setting the weekend and way better than what i was seeing initially. I must admit the letterbox still looks a little grey in dark scene but no torch light effect coming through as I saw before. I am guessing the only way to not have it is to get a plasma.

Thanks for the help reactor_sa

The best way is to calibrate your HDTV. You can do it yourself. Back bleeding and uniformity issues exists on the majority of HDTVs but you can influence the end result.
