Hi Guys
So I got myself a new Samsung Galaxy A05 dual sim, with both sim cards in the sim slots it only pickup one number the other one (Airmobile Afrihost) shows as "unknown number" see attached photo. The other issue I can't select between sim 1 and sim 2 when I want to make a call.
Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

TIA

If you have a friend with an iPhone, then put it in their iPhone and activate iMessage/Facetime. The iPhone will write the number to the SIM and it will show up in the Samsung SIM Manager.

If your AirMobile SIM is purely used for Data, then you should have your Telkom SIM (for calls & messaging) inserted as SIM 1 (primary) and AirMobile for Data inserted as SIM 2 (secondary) and change your settings accordingly.

Thanks for the info, it worked 100% in my old Samsung J5 prime had no issues. If you look at the picture you will see the number is not shown, shows as "unknown number" and this I need to fix....will a new sim card fix this problem?

Try turning your phone off completely, swapping the SIM cards as I mentioned above, then power up your phone again - change the SIM1 & SIM2 settings accordingly & see if that resolves the issue - otherwise you may need to either get the AirMobile Data SIM activated using another phone (or even try using a LTE router) - or if all else fails, try a SIM swap.

Thanks, will give it try.

Check under connections——>Sim manager———>Preferred sims, select calls and select ask always to pick which sim you want to call from.
