Samsung ALLSHARE and router help needed

Hi

I bought myself a new router due to have wireless one, now since i bought the new router my samsung flat screen dont want to "connect" to my pc anymore, it do connect to the internet (the tv) but it cant read my movies on the pc.

When i restart the router, i get a connection ( a pop up "allshare device connected") but when the router is running normal again, it dc again and the source cant be selected) . Can anyone maby tell me what setting i must set in this new router so my tv can see my pc?

Old router was a non wireless TP Link, new one is the duoPlus300 from telkom.

I'm also using the same router with Samsung Allshare LED TV and never been able to connect to my pc. As far as I understand, this router is not DLNA capable which is a requirement for Allshare connectivity.

The crappy HELLkom duoplus 300 router doesnt work with all share!

I hve tried all things
 
I spent a lot of time playing with this last week..

If sharing content by plugging a hard drive into your router:
- If your router shares hard drive over network it must do so with DNLA
- I had issues with SAMSUNG showing "device disconnected" issue. To fix this, I set the content scan on my router to 1440 minutes. What was happening was that the router was re-indexing files on the drive and TV would lose connection at same time

If sharing content on your PC:
If you can't get it working when plugging a hard drive into your router you still have the option of sharing your hard drive over the network using either your laptop / desktop computer. Windows Media shares content using DLNA. You can also download some other popular DLNA servers, e.g. http://www.serviio.org/
 
so do you have your allshare devices connected to your duoplus 300wr router and it works?

how do you set the content scan on your router?

I have a LA40D550 tv and that works for a short bit then looses the connection....

My BD-D5100 blu rayisint even seen by the network

When i use a switch it works instantly.

I was going to try the following to see if that will work... makes theoretical sense but dont know...

Connect my duoplus 300 to my DSL line, and all the other pcs to the router, i will then connect a switch to the router and the media pc, tv and blu ray to the switch...

Therefore if the last 3 want to connect they will bypass the router and connect via switch? and will still have internet connectivity on my mediapc

Sound feasible?
 
Mine is working fine? Netgear router. Picks up everything. Only crap thing is the USB functionality creating a nas is sloooooo0000w
