I wanted to get myself a 24" sammy LED today, only to hear Pinnacle and Rectron does not have stock or an ETA on the screens. The guy from Rectron said maybe next week and that there is a 27" LED monitor coming out that replaces the old P2770 (the LCD) one.
Worth the wait? And what about some online stores that are cheap? Take 2 has the BX2450 in stock but ofcourse priced more that the retailers. Even other retailers will do as well if they have stock.

I got it that price (R1800)... finally a piece of hardware that isn't available for half the price I bought it for.

It's straight-forward economics really? When supplies of an in-demand product are low, prices are high.

edit: most interestingly, certain local e-tailers are charging over R3k for the BX2450. :wtf:

Think im gonna wait, been waiting months anyways to see if a 27" led came out. all the other makes has a 5ms response time. no use in paying R200 less for something im gonna regret.

I see the BX2450 going for R1799
