Samsung developing 150MP smartphone camera - Report

Samsung is developing a new smartphone camera sensor for release at the end of this year, according to a report by Korean technology website Clien.net.

Twitter users Sleepy Kuma discovered the report, which stated that the new camera will be a 1-inch 150MP "Nonacell" sensor that will be limited to top-end flagship models.

Samsung reminds me of hifi systems that tell people that it can do 5000W PMPO rather than the 30W RMS.

In one regard this is complete BS, since most camera lenses can't produce that kind of resolution. Are they going to attach it to the Hubble Space telescope?
