South Africans looking to buy top-of-the range Samsung smartphones should be aware that these may not perform as well as their US equivalents.

Well, from the latest reports, the upcoming Exynos outperforms its Qualcomm counterpart.

The older generation was the one that sucked, hopefully, it (Exynos) keeps the performance on daily use.

If that is the case then I won't have a problem.

It would have to do more than just outperform Qualcomm, heat and battery life are areas that will have to be looked at as well.

From my reading and understanding the reports on it, it seems to have addressed those areas.

Those were the issues that pestered the last generation.

I have not been following either of them but will definitely be reading up on this cause looking at replacing my Mate 20 Pro in the coming year.
