The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is a 10.1-inch Android-based tablet computer produced and marketed by Samsung Electronics. It belongs to the new generation of the Samsung Galaxy Note series tablets, which also includes an 8-inch model, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. It was announced on 4 September 2013, and will be launched worldwide in Q3 2013. It is the successor to the original Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
Samsung announced its new Galaxy Note 10.1 at IFA in Berlin earlier in September 2013, along with a number of new features.
These include an improved S Pen, and better multitasking support with features such as Multi Window.
Multi Window lets users run apps in two different windows – either two different apps, or two instances of the same app.
Samsung also announced upgrades to hardware components such as the display and processor.
