Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 data problems

So i picked up my Note 10.1 yesterday on a new contract through vodacom. Till this morning i cannot access the internet, when i type in any web address it redirects me to a vodacom site saying that i dont have internet access on my number.

I took it back and sat on the line with data support for 30 minutes, he asked me to edit the APN settings, but i am unable to do so as all the settings are grey out and unchangeable. Even the guy on the line said this was very weird. I know that i changed the settings on my S2, now my question is why wont it let me change it on the note. Is this normal or does my device have a bug????
