What SD cards are you guys getting for your device?

Just checked it out. They only have class 4 cards now. Not in too much of a hurry so should I wait?

I copy to my cards quite often so wanted class 10. The class only really affects the write speed.
If you don't write to it that often, class 4 will be 100%.
 
Price on the class 4? i got 32gb kingston from esquire for R199 about two months ago. Can't remember class
 
Hello guys,

Got myself a Note 2. Just a question,I don't know anything about rooting and custom roms,should I do all that or can anyone direct me to a thread where I can go and read about the pro's of rooting?

Already enjoying it a lot. Big BIG move from a BB to this,but already very comfortable with it. Just lots of new stuff to get used to. Will check out the link.

Another question,the thing keeps telling me every now and again that maps have stopped working,what is that all about?

Check if there are any updates in the Play Store for MAPS. If not, then try a factory reset and see if the problem goes away.
If it does, then sorted.
If not, you may find MAPS is having an issue with the GPS hardware (doubt it, but don't rule it out) and you may have to RMA it.
 
Funny how you ask for something and people have this urge to not help but comment on other crap.

I know the chances are unlikely that it will scratch. But nothing is scratch proof. And if you go read dust will actually scratch gorilla glass 2 quite easily. Small microscopic scratches like this will over time irritate the crap out of me. But yes, granted for the most it is just easy of mind. And that is why i asked, what is the best screen protectors, where and what price. Not a debate about how unlikely the chances are of scratching.

Pouches and things are hard to come by for now.
Vodaworld in Midrand have flip covers and brown pouches.
ebay has many other options.

Please suggest which colour would be better and why? I have 2 days to decide and I'm leaning towards the white. The Titanium grey looks too normal but I must admit, I've only seen them in passing.
So what would you folk have me choose?
 
I prefer the titanium grey then the white S3 I had before, in terms of colour ofcourse. I wanted a white note 2 but now prefer the grey. The incredible connection at vodaworld has Belkin case for the note 2 but it leaves the bot and top exposed, waiting for an import. Also SGP screen protectors are definetely the best I have ever used, check them out at www.spigen.com, do not let anyone tell you its pointless to use them, gorilla glass is resistant but can be scratched.

No colour is "Better". It is down to what you prefer. IMO i feel the white tends to make me think of Apple. :sick:
