If they have released a Beta version of the firmware, it is only a matter of time before it becomes available officially.
Then it is up to our various carriers to test it, before making it available as OTA upgrades.
That could be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.

Or you can just install the Beta now (which according to many people who have flashed it runs great) by going to XDA and downloading it.

At the moment there are two custom releases I would consider, one from Wanamlite and another from a new developer.

I'm holding out for Omega, hoping that they will release a rom from the leak.

More great news is that many of the Note 3 apps from the leaked Note 3 rom works on the Note 2 leak.
 
For those of you who have previously used the Liquid Smooth roms, there is a stable 4.3 build out, v2.10. I am currently running it and I must say, it is awesome. Extremely smooth and very very light weight. I am hoping battery life is as good as it was on 4.2.2 roms :)

Quick update, battery life seems good. 8hrs of deep sleep only used 1% battery life.

This ROM is notably faster than PA 3.99 for me:D

Has anyone tried the leaked "official samsung" 4.3 roms that have been doing the rounds on XDA?

I am reffering to either the MI6 or MJ2 leaks.

I'll wait for sammobile. Want to try stock Twiz 4.3 just once before I go to CM.

Have been using MI6 since it came out. Even loaded the ported note 3 apps. Everything is working 100s for me.
 
Is anybody running a particular custom kernel, other than the one your rom comes with? My wifi quality is bad on CarbonRom, and I kinda like the rom otherwise...
