Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Hi guys

I see the Vodacom 4.3 update is out. Can anyone confirm that, since that is N7105XXUEMKB, the bootloader is the locked version (i.e. you can't downgrade the bootloader to 4.1.2), so you're stuck with 4.3 and KNOX?

well i am stuck now, been trying to get the xperia rom for note 2 working and my play store wont let me download anything error 403 and error 920 and then indiservices keeps stopping and package helper keeps stopping as well.

Do you think it was because I was on 4.4.2 and now downgraded to 4.3?

Hi. I have a note 2 and have been waiting forever for the jellybean 4.3 update. Has anyone managed to update their note 2 coz it says that i have the latest version 4.12 which is super old. i am currently on mtn... does it make a difference if i have vodacom or mtn coz i update firmware through wifi.

I don't know if the over-the-air update is available in SA, but I got mine from sammobile and flashed with ODIN. 100% legit

Samsung released the 4.3 update, but then pulled it after a few days - not sure if it's available anymore.

Reasons for the pull included degraded wifi performance and a few other niggles.

It looks like Samsung has abandoned the 4.3 release and will go straight to Android KitKat for the Note 2. Release day is end of March/beginning April.

Hope that helps. ;)

By the time we get android kikat in sa, android liquorice would probably be out..;)

It looks like the font sizes have been adjusted, may Kingrob will calm down a bit about it.
