Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Thanks for the PA 4.3 links. I flashed the ROM yesterday and its been very smooth. Battery seems to last longer than my previous stock 4.1.2.

Hi all,
My phone takes ages to recharge the battery. After 10 hours or so it only goes up to 60% (from about 10%) the previous night. That's with wifi and mobile data off. What do you think I can do?

The first thing I would do is try another charger. If that's not the problem something may be draining the battery while it charges.

Thanks :) can't figure out what's causing the problem.

I think this calls for some phone...if-you're-a-compulsive-streaker-then-don't-listen-to-the-next-word...FLASHING! :p

Are you still on PA? Do you reckon that's 'where it's at' in the world of people who run custom AOSP roms? :) Looking for something stable but definitely not Touchwiz, yuck.

I'm on PA 4.3, haven't been on stock Samsung since last year. The current PA 4.3 is very stable, I've been running it for close to a month now. You'll find that your phone will be more fluid and snappy with no lag at all.

PA query, is there a 4.3 version yet and doesn't support the SPen?

Yes PA 4.3 have been out for close to a month now. You will still be able to use the s-pen. All the Samsung related s-pen features however will be lost (like the s-pen screenshot feature). A nice app that I use is GMD SPen Control.

Are you using the "stock" PA Kernel or something else?

Any issues with IMEI/modem changes when moving to the 4.3 ROM? I really want to try PA 4.3 ( is the latest version 3.99? ) but I don't want to risk having issues with my IMEI again. I have backups of everything everywhere, but I am still a little nervous if I am honest:o

I'm using the stock PA kernel. I flashed 4.3 straight over 4.2 and didn't experience any issues with loosing the IMEI. 3.99 is the latest version.

One more thing, which modem are you using? Have you noticed a increase/decrease in signal strength?

I have read about the ME6 based Roms that only work with a certain modem, but I am not sure if PA 3.99 has this issue.

I'm still on DLK7 and don't experience any issues with signal strength.

Yes the ME6 roms uses another modem, that however does not apply to PA since the issues is uniquely related to Samsung roms.

I would also like to add that the issues with the ME6 roms is what kept me from flashing it to my phone. I'm just not prepared to take that chance.

I'm sure you are going to enjoy PA as much as everyone else does. ;)
