I will do some tests and see. Should have taken note (pun intended :D) this weekend cause my kids spent a carp load of time playing on it.

I deleted llama and disabled Google now.
Currently 8 hours on battery with 5 hours screen on time 29% remaining. But the apps were still active for a portion of that time. Will do some more checks under regular use.

Instead of Llama try Tasker (though it's R50). I love it, you can do the same stuff and much much more, incl battery saving stuff...
 
Nope, but I think this is the reason why we still waiting. Will phone them later this morning.
 
So I've been using my Note II for a week now. Getting a very annoying problem and I'm not sure if it's the phone or MTN.

I got a new MTN sim card, and 9/10 tries on calling the new MTN number result in an automated "The number you have dialed does not exist" message. I try a few more times and I get through. I can send/receive SMS's and make calls without issues.

I'm not planning to stick with the MTN card. I'm planning to cut my current vodacom sim card to micro-sim size and use that instead, but this problem is bothering me. Would it be the phone or is it MTN's network? If it's the phone then I officially have the worst luck ever :(
 
My Note 2 is waiting at MTN. Very excited! It's a new contract, so we just have to wait for it to be finalized, but they do have the phone in stock! I hope by the weekend I have it in my hands :D

Ordered via Bfore. Nearly 2 weeks and still waiting.
 
Got a cover for my Note 2 ... at last. Cellucity in Canal Walk.

Interesting thing was that when I inquired with Samsung staff they told me that Cellucity always get stuff first, even before their own shop in Canal Walk.

Good to know, will have to plan a trip over the mountain soon:D What type of covers did they have and were they original Samsung products?
