Samsung Galaxy Note 2

I thought I would have preferred the white but now that I have the grey in my hands I like it much better

Received the grey this afternoon but I think I prefer the white

Got my grey yesterday from FNB, and I prefer it to the white.

I compared it to my wifes' white S2, and a friends' white S3, and the grey just looks classier.
The grey flip cover is also not going to show dirt marks, stains and fingerprints as easily as the white.

The flip cover is the next best thing to sliced bread. It is basically a replacement back cover with an attached flap that fits the front perfectly.
It is original Samsung, so looks stylish, and should go a long way to protect the screen.

I have downloaded and watched a number of Youtube videos on the device, but even with them, and the complete downloaded manual, it feels that it is going to take me weeks before I learn all the features on this device.

Did you guys get a flip cover in the same box? I didn't get one. :(

Vodacom had lots of people getting them today. I decided to go for the S3 rather, it's a bit too large for me as a phone

Ok so it's not included like it was with the 1. Or perhaps only VC doesn't include it?

I never got a case with my 1 either. :(
At the time I recall it was a promotion or something that got new subscribers a case. I bought mine cash from the Sammy store and got nothing extra.

Prices seem to have dropped since the N1 though. I paid R600 for both the flip case and the body case.

I don't know. I have the iPhone 4s and the Galaxy S3. Since I moved to the galaxy, I am now unable to go to the smaller iPhone. I still can't bring myself to answer calls on my iPad (a.k.a Note 2 haha)

I wonder if the transition will be the same if I move onto the note, get used to it and never want to move back to a smaller device? That worries me.

I was getting a lot of stick at the linkin park concert for having such a big phone. I never felt the need to defend it because most of these guys were using blackberries haha. Then once we got inside I lost count of the amount of times people asked me "what is that?" A couple asked me if it was a note 2 and answered someone on my behalf saying "it's f**king awesome! " that became my standard response for the rest of the night.

With regards to getting used to it, it never took me long and I had a 9700  before this. Although I also had a desire hd, but there is still a big difference, was playing with a buddy's s3 and it felt so tiny it was unbelievable.

Hi guys,

I have never bought a phone from someone before. I am about to buy a Note II from someone who got it on contract from Vodacom and we are supposed meet on to Tuesday. Therefore I wonder what happens to me if he fails to pay his installments. and what documents should I require from him.

If he fails to pay will they block my phone?

Thanks for your help.
