Samsung Galaxy Note 20 vs iPhone 11 Pro - Specifications and pricing compared

Are these comparisons even valuable anymore, people are baked into the different eco systems hard to change.
This exactly, its comparing apples and oranges really, excuse the pun.
The Samsung looks terrible where the Apple looks really good.
The more important factor though is that the Apple will receive updates as they are released for many more years than the Samsung and even then it depends on if your carrier releases the update or not.

I see Iphone 11 doesn't need RAM.
Spoiler, it has 4GB of ram. Its kind of pointless comparing CPU/RAM/Storage in this instance. iOS is very well optimized for its hardware, Samsung is just throwing more resources to get Android to run smoothly.

The Samsung as well...

Today, that changes. Samsung has announced (albeit very quietly) that it will be providing at least three major Android updates to its flagship smartphones. That policy technically starts with the three phones announced today — Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, and Z Fold 2 — but extends back.

Some barely legible fine print on Samsung’s livestream (below) and official confirmation provided to Android Authority makes it official. Every Samsung flagship released since 2018 will be getting three major Android updates

Why do you not compare the latest BMW to last years Audi, while you’re at it.

So only 2 to 3 years behind native Android and iOS devices then.
.
I used to be a Samsung fan up to around the S5 and then got over their bloat and laggy OS, then came having to root and rom everything to get updates and that was it for me.

There are only two good choices: Android or iOS, anything else is a waste of time. So if you arent a fan of either then are you still running Symbian?

Lol it took Apple 10 years to roll out widgets. They're so far behind.

Absolutely no arguments from me, Im pretty sure even my G1 had them!
Apple are always way behind everyone, they are also annoying as heck with not following industry standards like USB-C etc.

Literally the only redeeming factor for me on the iphone is that it performs as well on the day you get it as it does 2 - 3 years later.

Na. You mean one UI? Or the other crap they adding on top. Pixel 4 series only has 6GB and they run android butter smooth.
