Do you guys think it's a fair deal to swap a iPad mini 2 Wifi & Cellular + R2000 cash for a Gold Note 5?

Do the IMEI numbers match up with the phone? Does it have its back sticker still and/or the box. Is the pen legit and does the screen look/feel like mineral or gorilla glass. Just be weary of knockoffs. If it's legit, I'd say go for it
I can buy a Gold Note 5 for R5500. Is it a good deal or not? Condition is as good as new. Box, charger, etc... included.

I would take that deal, for practical reasons and the fact that you are getting the Note 5 at around R8000 - (R6000 for the iPad + R2000), while Note 5 retails for just over R10 000.

But I have a Note 4 and am quite happy with it :)

Do you think I can get R6000 for my iPad Mini 2 (16GB Wifi & Cellular)?
I have a UAG case that is included.

So I decided to keep my iPad Mini and bought the Note 5 for R5000. This is one awesome device.

Isn't Marshmallow available for the Note 5 yet?

Yes Marshmallow has been released, but only in two Countries for the N920C model (our model) Cambodia and Iraq.
Also i read today, some carrier Verizon.. US A (i think) pushed out Mm. I see a lot of users have flashed above, but then a lot also have issues.
Waiting for Vodacom.......?
Good luck

hu,
I suggest you keep yourself busy with Samsung Themes,
Check out some really good themes in Theme Store.
Just be careful with S Pen it very fragile.
Also i suggest you get a mini OTG for extra space (i have a SanDisk, cost me about R220.) Replacement fo Sd card
I keep my movies etc on it. Watched movies directly from it, attached to my device.
Good luck

Only reason for issues is because users don't do factory reset after upgrading to marshmallow.

No issues and it is a lot smoother than Lollipop. No battery draining as well here.

Why do you say that? What problems have you heard of?

hi ,
sorry only saw your post/ question now .!
Yes , re: the Spen , you have to be careful ,
as it is fragile .So if you use it, just be careful .!!
I have nearly all the Note range ( 2,3,4 , and 5 )
and for me the Note5 Spen is the best to use .
Its just ,very easy to snap in half or bend,
if you don't "focus" when "taking out " or inserting Spen .
firstly, is you compare all the Spen range ,etc
you will see old S pens is more sturdier/stronger .
I have read on other forums , various report of Note5 ,
users either bending/ breaking / snapping pen in half ( by accident )
never mind their "kids " playing with their Note5
and forcing/inserting Spen ,back the wrong way .!!!
Yes , you can insert Spen the wrong way .
Samsung has "basically" admitted to this design weakness.
For me this is one of the weak points, but its also not a major issue .
Otherwise if i compare Note5 with my other Note devices ( for me ), it's one of the best in the range !
Yes ,without sd card and replaceable battery.( there is workarounds for these shortcomings )
re : Spec's ,smoothness ,battery life ,themes etc ....so much that all my Note range is rooted ,except the Note5 .
Good luck .

What type of protection are you using for your Note 5?

Can you please send pics? I want to buy a cover that doesn't hide this beauty too much.

I'm using a Dbrand skin for the back and a tempered screen protector.

I love the dbrand skins and get it for every new phone of mine. Highly recommended

Will it give enough protection if your phone falls?

How much and where do you buy it?

It will not protect it against drops - only scratches.
The tempered glass should protect the screen however.

www.dbrand.com - free worldwide shipping, you will wait a while though

Anyone know when to expect the OTA update (I'm on Vodacom)? I'd rather not flash manually and have to factory reset but waiting is a pain.
