Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Guys my phone has ink on the buttom right corner "s pen corner" its small but got me worried..how can i get this fixed?

Well one of reasons could be Device ,/Settings/Download booster is on .?
Normally if you want stable faster Download etc ,you can set it ( Download booster) on and if you do a big dowload and Device loses wifi signal, it would carry on using 4G data .

Hi. That was the first thing I checked. Not that.

I found the culprit. Google Duo. As soon as I launch it, it enables the data connection. When I close it, it disables the connection. All this while wifi is on.

Guess I'm going to delete that. What's the use of having wifi if the app uses your data? And that for video calling. No thanks.

Hi ,thanks for the Duo info .I downloaded Duo early , this morning ,but could not verify my number . So left it for later to sort out .
I guess (with your experience with Duo ),i am going to uninstall it now .!

Yup. Definitely duo. Tested earlier as well. On WiFi amd waa using WiFi data as i checked in the app for data usage. WiFi was 39mb and mobile about 60kb. Not sure why it enables mobile data. Only reason I can think of is to establish the connection as it uses peer to peer connection via cell number.
 
I just came here to ask if anyone is running a Note 7 port on their Note 5 and I see you already flashed yours.

I've just rooted my Note 5. Now I have to decide which Note 7 port I should go for.

Did you flash TWRP 2.8.7.0 Recovery?
 
Used 3.0.2.0

Been moving between builds depending on latest version available.

There is ways to hide root from aps.
 
This is why root isn't good for your phone. Usually the battery lasts for a full day.

Now after root.
