Witwolf, how is the battery life of your Note 5 when running Note 7 firmware?

Battery life isn't to bad. Similar to stock rom. Very happy with mine at the moment. Will share some screenshots in am. On charge at the moment.

What app can I use for that? RootCloak doesnt work

Something must have changed. Nothing seems to work these days. Currently using suhide by chainfire. Works with everything except with fnb new tap and pay.

I just did a Factory Reset. This phone is starting to drive me nuts.
Now busy restoring. Let's just hope performance and battery is back to normal after this.

No worries. I got it. Flashed the CHRISSCROSS Rom.

Great to see that you managed to solve it.

Keep in mind the chrisscross is about 2 months old. Waiting for the new nemesisrom then making a switch to it.

Currently on this rom, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3433983 has working AOD and night clock. Battery drain is bit crazy with AOD, 4% per hour. Sure dev's will fix it soon. 1st rom out that has AOD.

Kernel dev has made huge improvement on the AOD, draining around 2% per hour. A lot less than switching on the screen to see notifications or the time.

Which Rom and Kernel are you using?
My battery drain is a bit bad.

I am currently on this build, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3433983 using the latest kernel from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3489291. The OS comes with version 1 of the kernel.

Battery live is bad when using the phone, standby is great for me.

Phone on charge while driving with a quick charger and normally come home with a 90% plus battery in the afternoon. Will see the weekend how it survives with out a charger during the day.

I also have good standby time, but when I'm actually using the phone, battery life suck.

Not a deal breaker for me... as I am always close to a charger. The added features we get with n7 base and the smoothness makes it worth keeping the software.

Haven't paid attention to it.

I am about to wipe my phone completely, load latest stock and back to the one I have now with latest kernel. Want to see if it helps in anyway

I was thinking of loading 5.1.1 and then go to Custom rom from 5.1.1 instead of 6.0.1 because since 6 I've had battery problems.
How do I get 5.1.1 flashed again?

Seems a simple as flashing 5.1.1 with Odin.

Just completed wiping clean with twrp, installed latest stock(N920CXXU3BPJ5) and let it boot up, played for few minutes..... wiped again with twrp and flashed v9 with nemesis v2, and ussd fix. let see how it goes....

Might be Samsung cloud back up. Disable it and see if it makes a difference. Restored my settings and apps via Samsung cloud and Android OS is the only one with high data usage.
