Samsung Galaxy P7500 moist under LCD

Hi Guys

Do anyone have the oil like moisture under the lcd screen, I only notice it for the first time this morning, had the tab for 2 weeks now.
Do I take it back, anyone experiencing the same problem?

I would take it back.
I have the same problem but mine comes and goes (caused by pressure on the screen from cleaning).
There is another thread about this somewhere and they refer to it as a "halo" effect I think.

Google "Newton Rings", Samsung tablets are known from suffering from it(Check XDA), basically its the way they glue the screen and if it doesn't dry properly.

Take it back.

Can you guys see the mark while its turned on or only when the screen is off? Most guys in US reports its only visible when its off and comes and goes...due to expansion of battery that pushes the screen against the glass or something

Not visiable when turned on, guess the tabs is too thin. Will give it a go xrapidx.

The reason I suggest this is because apparently its caused by heat.

Well - you might not be able to see it easily... but what are the downstream effects of this liquid? Could it cause the touch screen to stop responding in a year, etc, etc.

Seems like the newton rings are caused by overcharging, which in return overheats the battery, causing it to expand and push the screen against the glass...

I've read about it elsewhere. It is a known fault.

If it bothers you, take it back!

MTN is aware of this and will replace faulty units obtained from them. I'm honestly not impressed with Samsung's effort here. Poor hardware plus crappy Honeycomb makes for a stormy tech marriage. Samsung lost the plot and all the returns will hit them hard. What happens when you try to redesign and manufacture a tablet in record time to stand against the iPad 2.

Yes, so I discovered myself today ... "policies and procedures must be adhered to" ...

They told me 15 day after that repair centre and they'll deside if I get a new unit.

And this is the exact reason I insisted on a refund.

If they don't replace it, take it through the CPA.
