Dual sim will be disabled yes, at least on MTN's side. MTN will never sell any dual sim phones. The second slot will probably be a sim/sd-card slot, but the sim functionality will be disabled in software.

Settings/notifications/status bar/battery percentage. Second sim slots across the SD card slot. Look for the small grooves where it fits.

There's already a plastic screen protector installed on device.
Check on your phone front, it's already stuck there

Correct I called Samsung and they said anywhere from 3 days to 4 weeks
What protection does it offer on the sides?
Did you have to pay in R99 as i see it's listed for R599

A bit more than the included one. It's a very soft silicon so it will absorb impacts well but not sure it will last years.
