Samsung Galaxy S3 Frontier Repairs

Hi, I have a Samsung S3 Frontier watch. The phone charges 100% according to the display but won't start up. I tried rebooting it by holding both buttons but to no avail. I made inquiries and was referred to SSS Cellular that is an authorised repair center for Samsung in Tygervalley. I am in Cape Town. They simply say since the product is too old Samsung does not carry spare parts for the watch anymore and they can't fix it. Any idea where I can have it fixed? Physical it seems ok. Screen works, charges but simply won't start up. Software issue?

Battery.
I have the same watch. Same symptoms.
Bought a battery off Ebay and installed myself.

Hi, thanks for the reply. So even though the battery says 100% charged it is not? I forgot to mention, it will only show the charge rate and the fact that it is fully charged whilst it is still on the charger.

It can also be the power on button. I had it on mine that it gets stuck and the watch never startsup.

I had to press it a few times and clean it out.

Perhaps I should open it up and have a look, although I will probably stuff it up in the process.

The buttons feel fine, definitely going in and out.

I could still switch my watch on while it was on charge, died shortly after removing charger. You can also try doing that. It will eliminate/highlight issue with power button.

Does not want to switch on while on the charger. Tried that also.
