Samsung Galaxy S4 announced

^^ impressive i know, you should watch the presentation from Qualcomm, i learn't alot just from their CES 2013 event :). 1080p recommended for 90mins :).

I am happy to see where Samsung's vision lie currently. This phone will no doubt be a hit yet again. :) this coming from an SIII owner :p.

Apple and Nokia going to have a problem topping that, now that I think about Nokia was probbaly waiting for the S4 so they could know what features to add to the "catwalk"

As I predicted ... a smaller Note 2 look and feel. Nothing wrong with that ... it is a design that works very well.

13MP camera. Might as well sell my regular 10mp mp one.... all the phone needs now is a brackets to attach a long lens onto.... lol.

Hmm I wonder when I can upgrade again. I actually think it's around June. Will the LTE version be out yet by then? Suppose we'll see.

Besides the lack of stock android and the still untested battery life(although the battery is enormous) it really is an incredibly strong package which puts Apple's efforts into question. It's so strong in fact that i kinda think there is nowhere left to go with smartphones. Until we get a major technological jump like flexible displays or something, from now on the changes will be minor.

Looks very good so far. See no mention of wireless charging?

First Samsung device I'm interested in again. Skipped the S3 in favour of the HOX...

Because of the screen and the IR controller? Other than that, I can't really see why. Most of that stuff and the other gimmicks in the s3 as well nobody I know really use. The only reason I upgraded from the s2 was because of the zero shutter lag camera.

I would want to see a comparison between the retina and the new 1080p screen. After that I will probably decide if I will get one.

Getting tired of the iphone critics. You forget the groundbreaking invention of the iphone 5 when they introduce an extra row of icons.

"which puts Apple's efforts into question"

I think that's a bit harsh on Apple. The iPhone 5 is the most profitable (for Apple) and popular single device in the world. Apple are probably OK with that.
