Samsung Galaxy S4 Heating & Battery issues?

Hi all,

I am planning on getting the Samsung Galaxy S4 this weekend however I have read online that it has some serious heating and battery issues, I was wondering if anyone has experience with this?

I don't want to get a contract so I can have a phone that heats up very badly.

If anyone has experience with the Galaxy S4 please share it with me.

No heat issues here, battery is fine too

No issues here and battery works well and lasts for a long time depending how you use it, it could go for 2 days+ or 6 hours.

I am guessing these problems dont persist in South Africa.

Actually playing games or using wifi and browsing the net does make the phone heat up alot just under the camera.

Noticed this and brought it up in this forum, seems like a normal phenomenon.

I think a graphically intensive game will result in some overheating (but I think all phones are susceptible to this) - no overheating out of the ordinary (actually none at all for me) and pretty good battery life.

Though there isn't an OTA update in SA currently. *sigh* better do a backup now.
