The specs look decent and I reckon this phone will sell truckloads!

Specifications :

Display - 4.5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display
CPU - quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU
RAM - 1.5GB RAM
Onboard storage - 16GB storage memory, with SD expansion card slot
Camera - 8MP rear camera, 2MP front cam
Battery - 2100mAh battery
OS - Android 4.4 KitKat
Other features - Galaxy S5's IP67 certification, which means the device is completely protected against dust and good for staying at least 30 minutes under 1 meter of water

Not confirmed : a notification LED! (One of the things that let the S4 mini down)

Now let me see if I can find any pics. :)

I thought this might be an S2 with WizzedKAT on it! Glad to see there may be a decent "mini" phone coming out, hardware-wise.

I reckon this might actually be a very decent phone, as the 720p resolution will look quite sharp on a 4.5'' display.

Mega sales for Samsung! :)

Hoping it does come with an LED notification light this time.

And FM RDS Radio, then it would be one sweet phone to own! :)

*It should have IR Blaster, as S4 mini already had it.

I couldn't care less if it has a Radio (I never use mine). Yeah looks like it will have IR.

The S5 Mini never lasted long in SA, providers seemed to hook onto the A3 rather and there was no way to get S5 Mini from a local network except for a few month just after they had come out, and in my opinion the S5 Mini is better than the A3 and worth the slightly higher price (all my colleagues with Sonys had issues with their Z3s, so the Z3 Compact is out, as was anything above 4.5").

Well, my S5 mini is arriving in about 3 days time (thanks to Orange) to replace my S2...

See its on KitKat 4.4.2 still and the rumours that it will get Lollipop 5.1.1 has not materialised yet, at any rate still newer than my S2s Jellybean.

Screensizes too big (was looking for a 4.5"), my S5 Mini perfect.

I have to setup e-mails and such on all kinds of phones (for example did it on 2 iPhone 6s's this week) nearly daily, so I know what its like, still do not want.

Still getting used to KitKat... but nice and fast and responsive and screen size perfect for me. A great little phone.

Pity it was so short lived locally.

Quite a good seller on Orange, I bought mine 9 days back and there were 24 available, now they are down to 2 available.
