Samsung Galaxy S5

Happy with my quad core. Just realised went from single to dual to quad with my last 3 upgrades. Wonder if 16 and 32 core are going to be happening in the next 4 years...

Wife's S4 just got one. Makes me sad..
 
So I went to the Samsung Store at Canal Walk to compare prices.
Extra Battery Kit cost R590 vs R449 at Takealot
S5 S View Cover cost R690 vs R429 at Kalahari

How can this be so?

The Samsung Store at Canal Walk is an AudioVision shop.

I bought a Samsung monitor there once, and saw the receipt is actually AudioVision.

I have an s5 that I got directly from Samsung and it's covered by the ADH premium warranty. My friend wants one too and they go for R7600 from Orange online store compared to the R9800 I paid on launch day.

Would an s5 from Orange online store also qualify to be registered for the ADH premium warranty?

They should. ADH is not just a south african thing.
 
That's correct it's a Africa only thing and as far as I'm aware orange handsets come from the UK hence my question?

You probably better off getting hold of Samsung and asking them directly.

But thinking about it, would they know if the handset was 'purchased' in another country or not?

I sent them an email was just wondering if there was anyone here that perhaps has an orange handset while I wait for a response.

Buy it from Kalahari.com, then it will be covered.
 
Got a mail from Samsung if the handset is from the UK it won't enjoy ADH cover.

Thanks didn't realise kalahari has such good prices.
