Samsung Galaxy S5

Anybody use the toolbox feature?

I just looked now after you mentioned it. Looks quite funky, might find a use for it when I get back to work (on break just now)

Something else I noticed earlier was when I paired the phone with my car, the display shows the bluetooth B symbol with 'premium' in front of it. It doesn't say that with a Nexus 5, S4 or iPhone. So what's all that about?

On your car? Or on the phone?

If I understand it correctly you can get 2 free screen replacements if it gets damaged. Do you need to register for this somewhere and if so could someone maybe provide me with a link.

Thanks.

Look on the Play store for the ADH Premium app
Install, open, follow instructions, done.

im loving the fact that i can now change channels on all TV's and DSTV decoders, the pub owner did not want to switch over to the arsenal game last night so I did it myself lol.

I am also using my phone now as a wireless keyboard and mouse so i now have a smart TV

So, MTN called me to say I can upgrade so I went to have a look. The "plaster" at the back looks much better IRL than in in pictures on the Web. With that said the phone still feels the same as all other Samsungs (read cheap) so has got zero appeal to me :(

Here's a novel idea - if you don't like it, don't get it :D

Was it the Band-Aid (gold) one? :D

You must take the BLUE one, silly! :p

Although I am somewhat negative to the S5 I really wanted to give it a chance. Samsung has some major advantages over others such as the ADH warranty, STOCK!, great service, popularity means good resale and updates, S5 has a great camera et cetera but I was really hoping for the metal S5 that was rumoured. I would be there first in line.

For now it looks like:
Sony Z1 compact - I don't mind going smaller as I have a tablet, great build, great camera, water resistant
HTC one m8 - Obvious first choice doesn't look like MTN will get it though :(
LG G2 - A bit too close to S4 but worth a look.

Just get the S5. it are awesome :D

z1 compact - if you want a smaller form factor, it's definitely the one to get.
HTC don't do it. service i heard is non existent, and the resell not as good as any samsung.
G2 - don't go there... G3 will be announced soon.

Another reason for me to move away from Samsung is I have the Note 2014 tablet, the S5 would be all to similar.

I have only seen a dummy Z1 compact and I don't think the dummy was doing it justice.

Want something new... Maybe I must look at Apple or Nokie  although I have invested a lot into Android.

whatever you do, don't jump the android ship... it'll be the end of you :P

rather go with a schitty unsupported android phone, than any of two you mentioned.
