LTE networks (Vodacom and MTN) are selling the F in that case - with 16GB
FNB and Cell C (and I imagine 8ta) will be selling the H with 32GB
 
Honestly guys....is this all you can say about the Galaxy S5 - that it does well when dropped??

What about the cool features of the S5? Fanie, have you taken your phone for a jog and used the heartrate monitor?

Come on guys, we need some decent info. :sick:

I tried, but after 22meters, an alarm went off to say "STOP NOW! YOU WILL DIE! NO, REALLY, STOP!!"
 
LOL kingrob, read this and the other threads.

I have taken my Gear and Samsung for walks daily if that helps :) The Gear's heartrate monitor stays live in exercise mode which is pretty cool.
Also been playing with remote shooting using airdroid.

Bit disappointed that I cannot use a standard wifi network for screen mirroring but pretty sure there is/will be an app for that.

remote shooting with airdroid? i know the app, explain the function and how you used it.

Instead of buying a dedicated device or a wifi adapter I would prefer to just mirror my screen to my tv via my pc (would be great fun for games as an example).

ah, i've got a chromecast that can stream my browser to my tv, and youtube, etc. maybe soon someone will come out with something that will meet your needs.
 
I got the S5 from MTN.

Did anyone get the USB3.0 micro usb cable? As I only got the micro USB2 cable
 
Only the usb 2 cables. I'll get a usb 3 cable eventually just to see if it makes a difference.
 
Anyone know how to change that oriental female voice that warns of a low battery at 5%?
 
So here is an awesome hidden feature I found out about.

I have been wondering why S Note is available for the S5, as previously S Note is just available for the the Note series. Where S Memo was the version available for devices without the S Pen.

Well well well, it turns out, you can use a pencil, yes a normal pencil to not only interact with S Note, but you whole phone.

Some areas I found that increased sensitivity must be used (found by swiping down with two fingers and selecting Touch Sensitivity).

Here is an example of something created in S Note, taken a screenshot off, and then wrote on top of the screenshot in edit mode.
