No. The free Gears was just for the first 100 new contracts, and also, those new customers will only find out if they were part of the first 100 on delivery. Which kinda sucks imo.

Thanks ,Im rather interested to see how many people actually get them . I believe that there have been a large number of complaints from Customers (me included) re that promotion as it was misleading in every way to put it mildly .
Incredible Connection were and are still running a similar promotion but with a gear 1 (though Im not to sure if you can get it on Vodacom contract through them) . The point is that with their promotion as a Customer completes the purchase the actual number of Free gear 1's is adjusted online . This I though was a great way of doing it as then there is no confusion . Vodacom though had no mention of it not being for upgrades or just how many units of the Gear 2's were available as Gifts . In all I found it rather deceitful to be honest .
After getting rather rudely treated by a supervisor and a consultant regarding this whole promotion I just decided to cancel my upgrade and im in the process of cancelling the line with Vodacom and going to go to Telkom tomorrow ,I just hope they will have the S5 in stores tomorrow .
